About your role
The successful candidate would be expected to assist in production support & maintenance of critical applications with a focus on specific business needs and service oriented approach. The role requires the candidate to be able to do:
1.Incident management: Troubleshoot production issues and find root cause through analysis. Candidate needs to provide resolution OR escalate the incident to appropriate support team within defined service level agreement (SLA). If escalated then drive the resolution by following-up with appropriate support teams until the resolution or recovery is provided to business.
2.Support & Operations: Required to perform routine operational tasks such as critical batch monitoring, morning checks on application’s readiness for business use, health check reports, maintenance tasks etc.
3.Communication and Reporting: Regular communication to business and technology stakeholders through emails, phone, chat etc in English language.
The candidate will be part of highly dynamic production support team who will be working very closely with their other location support groups in Japan, India and Dalian to provide follow the sun support services to their business. Candidate should be enthusiastic to work in highly demanding situation under multiple technologies stacks cutting across multiple business domain. Candidate is also required to focus on knowledge sharing amongst fellow team members through various knowledge sharing means such as Training sessions, Clear and Up-to-date documentation available in knowledge sharing repository.
About you
The position is for an experienced software engineer. The candidate are supposed to have the following charactors.
?3-5 years working experience in IT industry.
?Well versed with database SQL queries. Should be able to write medium to complex SQL queries. Stored procedure programming experience is preferred.
?Good English communication capability.
?Hands on and working knowledge of Windows Server administration
?Experience with Amazon AWS.

Experience and Qualifications Required
Essential Skills and Experience
-Experience with Amazon AWS, .Net, Windows Server, SQL
-Good English communication capability.
-Informatica or other ETL experience is preferred.
-Middleware experience like WebSphere MQ, Apache Kafka and etc.
-Scheduling tools – e.g. Autosys or Control-M. Candidates having Control-M knowledge would be preferred.
-Experience in Capital Markets business domain such as Fixed Income, Equities, Derivatives, Funds management and accounting, Pricing, Valuations, Corporate actions etc.
-Experience in supporting .Net applications. Candidates with software development experience in such applications will be nice to have.
-Experience or working knowledge of MS Excel, Access VBA development.
