崗位職責(zé): Job Title: 學(xué)生宿舍管理崗 Department: 學(xué)生宿舍管理處 Department of Student Housing and Residential Life (SHRL), OSA, HKUST (GZ) Job Posting Details Formally established in June 2022, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou)(HKUST(GZ)) is a cooperatively-run university between the Chinese mainland and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. In response to the increasingly complex challenges faced by the rapidly changing world, HKUST(GZ) adopts a brand-new and cross-disciplinary academic structure featuring “Hub” and “Thrust” to substitute the conventional one characterized by “school” and “department”, facilitating cross-disciplinary integration while vigorously developing emerging and frontier disciplines. This is a groundbreaking move in the higher education community across the globe. HKUST(GZ) comprises four Hubs, namely Function Hub, Information Hub, Systems Hub, Society Hub and 16 thrusts. The admission of undergraduate students begins in 2023, with the first batch of programs covering artificial intelligence, data science and big data technology and smart manufacturing engineering. HKUST(GZ) is located at No.1 Duxue Road, Qingsheng Hub Cluster, Nansha District, Guangzhou. The campus covers an area of about 1,669 mu (111.3 hectares) and is divided into two construction phases. The first phase covers an area of about 716 mu (47.7 hectares) with a floorage of about 636,000 square meters (63.6 hectares), which had been officially put into use in September 2022. The design of the campus blends natural scenery with architecture, with key cutting-edge technologies for energy conservation and environmental protection adopted during the design and construction process, in a bid to establish the campus as a new benchmark of green, smart and sustainable development. Key Responsibilities 1.Oversee daily operations of student dormitories to ensure efficiency and enhance resident satisfaction. 2.Responsible for the admission, allocation, and check-out processes related to student dormitories. 3.Conduct inspections of fire safety, security, and hygiene in the dormitories, performing comprehensive safety checks regularly. 4.Promptly report maintenance needs to ensure the proper functioning of facilities and equipment. 5.Identify and promptly report safety hazards while effectively mastering emergency response procedures. 6.Coordinate and organize dormitory support for major events, such as new student orientation and graduate check-out. 7.Assist the Department of Student Housing and Residential Life in maintaining order within the dormitory and effectively resolving conflicts and disputes among students. 8.Offer consultation and reception services to students. 9.Welcome visitors to the dormitory and provide guided tours with detailed explanations. 10.Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Department of Student Housing and Residential Life. 11.Work in a 24-hour shift system, with schedules arranged by the dormitory management center. 崗位職責(zé)： 1.管理學(xué)生宿舍的日常運(yùn)營，確保宿舍的高效運(yùn)作和提升入住滿意度； 2.負(fù)責(zé)學(xué)生宿舍的入宿、調(diào)配和退宿相關(guān)工作； 3.負(fù)責(zé)學(xué)生宿舍消防、安全、衛(wèi)生等檢查工作，按照學(xué)校規(guī)定的巡查路線和時間間隔，定時對宿舍進(jìn)行全方位安全巡查； 4.及時上報維修需求，確保設(shè)施設(shè)備正常運(yùn)行； 5.發(fā)現(xiàn)安全隱患及時處理并上報，熟練掌握應(yīng)急處理機(jī)制，按照流程處置應(yīng)急突發(fā)事件； 6.協(xié)調(diào)組織新生報到和畢業(yè)生退宿等大型活動宿舍工作支持； 7.協(xié)助學(xué)生管理部門維護(hù)宿舍秩序，妥善處理學(xué)生之間的矛盾和糾紛； 8.為學(xué)生提供咨詢和接待服務(wù)； 9.負(fù)責(zé)接待參觀宿舍的來訪人員、提供導(dǎo)游和講解工作； 10.完成其他學(xué)生宿舍管理部門交辦的工作任務(wù)； 11. 24小時輪班制，具體排班由宿管中心安排。 任職要求: Qualifications 1.Bachelor’s degree or higher.
